The Star 30M semi-automatic pistol is the evolution of the Star 28DA. The first prototype of this pistol was presented in November 1981, with the serial number 1,580,925. Designed by Eduardo Iraegui Zamacola, it combines the best qualities of the SIG P210 pistol (Switzerland) and the CZ75 (Czech Republic). The differences with its predecessor are summarized in a greater thickness and improved position of the slide grooves, a shorter extractor that also acts as a cartridge-in-chamber indicator, a change in the shape of its ambidextrous safety for a better fit in its holster and improvements to the rear sight and front sight. She was Regulatory in the Civil Guard Corps and in the Ertzaintza (Euskadi Police). The luxury model that is the object of this file, damascened with floral motifs, scrolls and bird scenes, has been made by María Jesús Berasaluce, a native of Eibar. This pistol was manufactured in 1984 (D2). |
