The first arms (XVI-XVIII)
In this room visitors have the chance to discover the early phases of gun-making, the productive organisation of the tradesmen involved at this time, and the founding of the "Royal Arms Factories of Placencia" together with the primitive ignition systems of the first portable arms.
It is also the opportunity to marvel at weapons made between the 16th and 18th centuries. Among them can be found a fuse-firing pistol - the first independent firing mechanism - in the shape of a key.
